About The Organizer

Founded in 2008, GMI (Garment Manufacturers of India) began with a focus on readymade garments, quickly carving out a niche in men’s wear. By 2009, GMI expanded its offerings to include men’s ethnic wear, establishing itself as a trusted name in the industry.

In 2017, building on its success, the company ventured into the surface materials industry with the launch of The Design Show (TDS) in Mumbai. Initially focused on surface materials and solutions, TDS quickly grew, expanding its operations to Bangalore in 2018. By 2019, TDS had broadened its product range in Mumbai, offering everything from laminates and highlighters to plywood, veneer, corian, wallpaper, flooring, adhesives, PVC sheets, acrylic sheets, and louvers.

The company continued to evolve, launching the Home Decor Show (HDS) in 2023, with its inaugural event held in Mumbai. The success of HDS led to a second edition in 2024, also in Mumbai, and plans for the third edition in Delhi in 2025.
